PONDICHERRY

Pondicherry   is  the best place for weekend 

trips. It is also known for its culture and heritage. Pondicherry , a French colonial settlement .
I went to pondicherry on 8th jan 2018 . It was a weekend trip. I went by car ,morning 5o'clock we started and reached there at 8o'clock.It was one of my most memorable trip .we went to the best places in pondicheery like Rock Beach , Matrimandir , Auroville , Basilica of the sacred heart of jesus.

Rock Beach

We went to Casablance which is the shopping centre for the best outfit of clothes u get.I bought so many traditional dresses. Casablance is a place where u can get handloom products for the best price.

Matrimandir

And then we went Matrimandri (Sanskrit for temple of the mother) .I personally love this place beacubecause of structure and surrounding.it is in the form of a huge sphere surrounded by 12 petals. The geodesic dome is covered by a golden disc which reflects sunlight. It has a open space called peace. Where u can sit and relax.

Jawahar Toy Museum

After that we went to jawahar toy museum. it is a doll house which has more than 140 dolls brought from different indian states.we bought so many puppet dolls .they have the best collection includes dolls from Punjab,Bengal,Haryana,Assam, etc.

And then we went to French Food Cafè. Which is on the beach road and it is open 24 hours.

Pondicherry is the best place to hangout with friends and family. It is one of the best unique places in india.my stay there was very short, But I enjoyed the roadtrip .it was a memorable and beautiful place I have ever seen!!
